Who I am

I am of South Indian origin. However I have grown up in the UK most of my life and so English is my first language. I have experienced much confusion in my life because of the apparent conflict between the values of my heritage and those which I have grown up with in British society. Due to my personal challenges, I take a careful and considered approach in understanding your cultural frame of reference and work respectfully with it.

I am experienced in working with:

Anxiety Depression Panic attacks
Post traumatic stress syndrome Stress (general, work and family) Low self esteem
Sexual identity conflict Relationship issues Cultural identity issues

My qualifications and accreditations

I work mainly within the humanistic school of transactional analysis (TA) and am a fully certified Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist (CTA).

I hold an MSc and Diploma in TA and have been seeing patients since 1998. I also hold a BSc with honours in Cognitive Science and am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the UK Association for Transactional Analysis. In addition to my private practice, I work externally at both Cardinal Clinic and for an NHS IAPT service to deliver group and individual sessions
